WHAT IS REIKI?

Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is a Japanese technique that promotes relaxation, stress reduction and healing. It is done with touch.  Feels like warmth emanating from the palms of the practitioner's hands that is soothing as the Reiki energy works with the client to release tension as it works to create a sense of peace and love that relaxes deeply. ​ ​ ​

Reiki comes with many great benefits that not only helps create peace, self-love, relaxation, healing but also allows us to learn how to heal ourselves and others. Anyone can learn Reiki and is taught in one two day weekend. 

  • What is holy fire?
    Holy Fire Reiki is a new energy that is being taught by the International Center for Reiki. The word Holy is not used in any religious way but more so as whole and complete. Therefore, Holy Fire Reiki is a spiritual energy that creates wholeness through purification, healing, empowerment, and guidance.
  • How long are Reiki sessions?
    We offer Reiki as 60 and 90 minute sessions
  • What can I expect from a Reiki session?
    You don't unclothe for a Reiki session. Reiki is not the same as massage. Depending on your needs, Reiki can be done seated or on a massage table. Prior to receiving Reiki, you will fill out a health intake form and create goals and positive intensions. Together you and the practitioner will create the intention for your session. The Practitioner will than connect with the Reiki energy and the session will begin. Sessions are offered as 60 and 90 minutes. Often times a meditation experience will be done while you are on the table followed by a healing session with Reiki. These experiences are unique and helps you become more relaxed in preperation for deeper healing to take place. In these meditation experiences, the Holy Fire energy will work directly with you to bring purification, healing, empowerment and guidance.
  • Are there any prerequisites to take any Holy Fire classes?
    Usui/Holy Fire II Reiki I & II, no prerequisite Usui/Holy Fire II ART/Master Teacher- Must have taken Reiki II and have practiced for 6 months. Open to all lineages. Proof of taking Reiki II will have to be provided prior to taking this class. Holy Fire II Karuna (R) Reiki Master Teacher - prerequisite- must be a Usui Reiki Master Teacher. 6 months of being a Teacher is a requirement to take this class.
  • Can Reiki cause harm?
    Reiki can never cause harm and is completely safe. Anyone can receive Reiki healing for any situation. Reiki compliments other therapies and treatment.
  • Reiki Attunement vs. Placement
    A Reiki Attunement is passed by a Reiki Master Teacher by channeling the Reiki energy and interacting with the student through touch. Since Holy Fire, attunements have been replaced with placements and does not involve the Reiki Master Teacher to interact or touch the student. The attunments which are now called placements are conducted by the Holy Fire energy and is more higher vibrational as the teacher no longer touches the student. This process accomplishes the same results as a Reiki attunement but is even more stronger and powerful as it comes directly from God.
  • When are workshops scheduled?
    All Workshops are scheduled Friday-Sunday as two and three day events from 9am-6:30pm We also offer private classes. please contact Miichael Vlahoulis to schedule a class.
  • How do I register for a class?

  • I'm a healer, am I using Reiki?"
    Everyone has the ability to heal or be a healer. Healers use a different frequency of life force energy. The Reiki and Holy Fire energy can only be passed on by a teacher through an attunement or placement. If you are currently a healer, taking a Reiki class and going through an attunement or placement will only enhance and make your current healing even stronger.

  • Do you offer private Reiki classes?
